Player privacy
You can play Psalms Hero without creating an account. An account is needed only to post a leaderboard score.
Your account and scores
Clerk handles registration and email verification. Out of the Depths stores your account identifier, approved player name and best scores. The public leaderboard shows your player name, score, accuracy and best combo. Your email address is not displayed.
Your proposed player name is sent to OpenAI for content review. We do not send your email address to that service. Run records expire after two hours and are cleared as new runs begin; scores and player profiles remain until removed.
Email updates are optional
If you choose email updates, we store your verified email address and a record of your choice, and send that email address to Kit for Out of the Depths updates. Follow the confirmation email to complete your subscription. You can unsubscribe using the link in any email. Signing in again does not renew an unsubscribed email subscription.
Reporting and removal
Signed-in players can report inappropriate names on the leaderboard. Reports are private. To request removal of your player profile, scores or email consent record, contact Out of the Depths through the social links below and include your player name. We may ask you to verify account ownership.
